Clarence Fogel, 95, of Victor, Montana, passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2012, at the Marcus Daly Hospice and Palliative Care Center in Hamilton, Montana.

Clarence was the last surviving of his 14 siblings. As a child, his family moved through different areas of Montana working in sugar beets and settled in the Stevensville area of Three Mile. Clarence worked for several years logging in Miller Creek, at Intermountain Lumber, White Pine Sash, the Bonner Sawmill, as well as Missoula Laundry.

On October 24, 1942, Clarence married Annie Brotzman. In 1958, they moved to their present home where he worked for the Hawker family milking cows, Frances Garnett, the Pfau family milking cows and Bergman Livestock. Clarence ended his career working for Dunbar Sawmill as a delivery driver. Upon retiring from that job, he stayed at home and raised his few cattle and other livestock.

Clarence enjoyed whittling, scrapbooking, pool, darts, woodworking, Wii, rodeos and just being outside gardening.

He is survived by his wife, the love of his life, Ann Brotzman Fogel; a daughter, Dorothy Cunningham and husband Pat of Kenai, Alaska; son Orville "Butch" Fogel and wife Karen of Victor and son Kal Fogel and wife Lyndee of Dillon; his grandchildren, David Raines of Victor, Tom Raines and wife Lynn of Rigby, Idaho, Cindy Williams of Silverdale, Wash., Rebekah Rhoades and husband Chris of Springfield, Ore., Boe Fogel and wife Brittany of Dillon, Debbie Nicholls and husband Rusty of Pollock Pines, Calif., Ann Jovanovich and husband Mike of Chicago, Ill., Leila and husband Alan of Frisco, Texas, Roger Fogel of Hamilton, Robbie Fogel and wife Dena of Victor, and Dennis Fogel and wife Janet of Durango, Colo.; several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, at the Daly-Leach Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept 7, at Grace Lutheran Church with burial to follow at the Corvallis Cemetery. There will be a reception following the committal services at the church.
