KATRINA THOMAS ADDIE, age 85, went home to be with the Lord September 1, 2012. She was born in Valdosta, GA. In her late teens, she moved to Cleveland, OH and was a former member of Second Lakeview Baptist Church and served as a Deaconess, adult choir member, Nurses Guild and many other committees and was currently a member of Ebenezer Apostolic Assembly Church. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Preceded in death by her husband, John Addie, two sisters and one aunt. She leaves to cherish her memory, three sons, Jimmie Lee Thomas, Granada Hills, CA, Gerald Dexter Thomas, Cleveland, OH, Michael Thomas, Indianapolis, IN; four daughters, Karen Osborne and Phyllis Axon, both of Brunswick, OH, Michelle Podis, Akron, OH and Kathleen Brumfield of Chester Springs, PA; seven granddaughters; thirteen grandsons and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 6, 2012, at 1 p.m., at Ebenezer Apostolic Assembly Church, 355 The Brookland Ave, Akron, with Elder Robert Palmer officiating. Friends may call at the church on Thursday, from 11 a.m., until time of service. Interment at Lakewood Cemetery.
