Survived by Wife Mary (Bertone) Arcaro, whom he married on December 28, 1968 Daughters Lisa (Heath) Kermode of Painesville Margaret (Fred) Frisco of Chardon Theresa Arcaro of Painesville Grandsons Jacob and Joseph Kermode Dominic and Rocco Frisco Brothers Felix and Antonio (Elena) Arcaro of Canada Sisters-in-Law Michelina Arcaro and Carmela Arcaro of Canada Carmelina Arcaro of Italy Brother-in-Law Anthony (Mary Jo) Bertone Sister-in-Law Shirley and Patti Bertone Many nieces and nephews also survive Preceded in death by Parents Brothers Michael, Emilo, and Jacinto Arcaro Sister Angolina (Antonio) Mucciarone Sister-in-Law Elizabeth Arcaro In-Laws Francesco and Nicoletta Bertone Michael and Carmen Bertone

He served in the US Army. He was a Ship Pilot for 43 years on Ore Carriers for the U.S. Steel-Transtar retiring in 1999.

Cosmo graduated from the Lake Carriers Assn.

He was employed by the P.C. Dock in Conneaut, Inland Lakes, and Re-Education Services. He was a kind and generous man, loved his family and friends; but his greatest loves where his grandsons. He enjoyed dancing and listening to polka music. A "jack of all trades", Cosmo enjoyed his vegetable garden and feeding animals. He was always willing to help everyone.
