Mrs. Anne Eubanks Johnson, 54, of 2001 Hampton Ave., died Sunday, Feb. 26, 1989, at her residence, after a lengthy illness.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Poteet Funeral Home, Greene Street, with Dr. Charles Bugg and Dr. Randy Cooper officiating. Burial will be in Westover Memorial Park.
Mrs. Johnson, a lifelong resident of Augusta, was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church, Augusta. She was a former employee of Health Master of Augusta and past president of the Woman's Auxiliary of the Richmond County Medical Society.
Survivors include two daughters, Janice Caroline Johnson and Cheryl Anne Wheeler, both of Augusta; three sons, Julius Traylor Johnson, Jr., Evans, Henry Michael Johnson, Lincolnton, and Davis Scott Johnson, Augusta; and three grandchildren; [Jennifer Anne Johnson, Whitney Elizabeth Johnson, and Samuel Adam Johnson].
Pallbearers will be Albert Eubanks, Dr. Joseph M. Garrison, Robert Haynie, William Hogan, Mattison R. Verdery, Billy Pinion, Edward B. Stalnaker and Sullie Starnes.
Friends may call at the residence or from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
