Born Rangnhild Orahaug, she changed her name to Rachel Haugen. Immigrated to US in 1913 to Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Married Ole Kleppen in Wisconsin July 10, 1915 and moved to the Outlook community in Montana. Ole died of TB or consumption in 1918. (Sheridan Daybreak page 525.)They had two children - Arthur and Orrin.
On October 31, 1921 Rachel married John Emilson. In 1925 John's sister passed away and we took in her daughter Elvina Stokke to raise. Elvina later married Orris Galland. They moved to Plentywood in 1947 and John passed away of a heart attack in 1951.
Rachel married August Gibson in 1955. August passed away in 1957.
