Funeral services Wednesday for Hardee, 80
Funeral services for Estes J. [ames] Hardee, 80, of rural Clarinda will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday at Walker-Merrick Funeral Home with Loren Daly officiating.
Hardee died Sunday afternoon at Goldenrod Manor where he had been a patient since Monday.
He was born Nov. 22, 1907, in Buchanan Township, the son of Ezra P. [ulaski] and Mary L. [ouise] Martin Hardee.
On Sept. 8, 1927, he was married to Agnes Strait at Corning.
Hardee was a farmer and had worked at MHI.
He was a past master of the Siam Masonic Lodge and member of Siam Eastern Star.
Hardee is survived by his wife Agnes of the home and one son, Phillip Hardee, rural Clarinda. There are seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents, daughter Beryl Ann Karg, four brothers and three sisters.
Burial will be in Shearer cemetery with Masonic services at the funeral home Tuesday at 7:30 with visitation until 8:30.
