MUSKEGON, Mich. Erma G. Backus Salgado Redondo, 96, formerly of Oak Hill, died Saturday, Sept. 3, 2005, in Muskegon.
Born Jan. 1, 1909, at Oak Hill, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Letetia Lively Backus.
Mrs. Redondo was a retired telephone operator for C&P Telephone with 18 years of service.
Mrs. Redondo ran a rooming house for 24 years and was a restaurant owner in Oak Hill for several years.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clarence McGraw, Joseph Salgado and Delmiro D. Redondo; and two brothers, Wilmer Backus and Eldred Backus.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation.
Graveside rites and committal service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill, with Minister Carl Kincaid officiating. Burial will follow.
