HICKMAN - Mary Francis Major, 69, homemaker, died Thursday morning of cancer at Baptist Memorial Hospital East in Memphis. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church here, where she was a member, with burial in Hickman City Cemetery. She was active in the Fulton County Democratic Party and the Fulton County Chapter of the American Cancer Society. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Major, the widow of Bronaugh Major, leaves a daughter, Lee Anne Major Williams of Columbus, Miss.; three sons, Lynn Major, Mike Major and Jim Major, all of Hickman; two brothers, Kyrous Streeter of Oran, Mo., and T. H. Streeter Jr. of Lexington, Ky.; eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild. The family requests that any memorials be sent to First United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
