Born April 1, 1917, at Calhoun County, Miss., son of the late T.H. and Kate Cooper Streeter, he was a retired farmer and had been appointed by the Secretary of Agriculture to the National Cotton Council and the State Soil and Water Board. He was of the Baptist belief.
On Dec. 19, 1940, at Lilbourn, he married Elsie Calhoun who survives.
Other survivors include: one son, Delane Streeter; and two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
Visitation and services were held at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance where with The Rev. Webb Manley officiating.
Burial followed in Williams Cemetery at Perkins.
