Born March 6, 1927 in Mansfield to George J. and Ivy (Cushing) Kuelling, she was graduated from Mansfield Senior High School in 1945. Dorothy was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and yard work, and was a member of Grace Episcopal Church.
She is survived by her daughter Shelly (Sam) Adams of Chickamauga, Georgia; her son Brian (Dena) Guntharp of Kansas City, Missouri; grandchildren Emily Adams, Sara Guntharp, Kevin Grant and Ryan Grant; great-grandchildren Kayla and Trent; sisters Charlene Hupp and Mary Baney both of Mansfield, and Dianne Rooke of Cambridge, Ontario, Canada; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Curtis Doyle Guntharp in 1977. Also deceased are her sister Margaret Warden and brother Ernie Kuelling.
Her family will receive friends Sunday, July 31, 2011 from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Finefrock Chapel of the Marion Avenue Snyder Funeral Home, 350 Marion Avenue (Former Finefrock Funeral Home), where her funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. The Rev. David S. Sipes will officiate. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Contributions in her memory to Hospice of North Central Ohio may be made at the funeral home.
