Ernest G. Kuelling, 78, of Boston Ave., died Wednesday afternoon in Peoples Hospital following an extended illness. He was born July 17, 1924, in Mansfield, to George and Ivy Chushing Kuelling, both now deceased.
He had been an area resident all his life and had retired in 1986 from White Consolidated Industries' Mansfield Laundry Plant, where he had worked 39 years. He was a member of the Grace Episcopal Church, American Legion Post 16, 40 and 8, and the Lst Man's Club. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having served in the European theater.
Surviving are five sisters, Dianne K. Rooke of Cambridge, Onatio, Canada, and Margaret L. Warden, Dorothy Guntharp, Mary Baney and Charlene Hupp, all of Mansfield.
Services will be held Saturday at the Finefrock Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery.
