Elma Luella Cochran, 98, a resident of Beverly Healthcare, Oil City, died at 4:57 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2001, in Northwest Medical Center at Franklin.
Born Sept. 19, 1902, in Venus, she was a daughter of Michael and Sarah Wolf Goodman.
Mrs. Cochran was a member of the Rouseville United Methodist Church.
She was also a member of Ella Rebekah Lodge where she was district deputy president. She also was a member of the Gray Ladies at the Oil City Hospital and the Rouseville Volunteer Fire Department.
Mrs. Cochran was married Sept. 1, 1919, to Guy Cochran, who died Feb. 6, 1993.
Surviving are three children, Mildred Ruth Culbertson of Rouseville, Guy Cochran and his wife, Betty, of Oil City, and Jack Leroy Cochran of Cherry Tree; nine grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Cochran was preceded in death by a daughter, Helen Marie Cochran; three sisters and four brothers.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Morrison Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home, with the Rev. John Boor, pastor of the Rouseville United Methodist Church, officiating.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Rouseville United Methodist Church or to the Rouseville Volunteer Fire Department.
