Joan Gaddis Baughman, 77, passed away peacefully May 21, 2011.
Mrs. Baughman was born September 29, 1933 to the late Louis and Mary Gaddis in Elberton, GA. She was an Operation Room Tech for several years and truly enjoyed taking care of her patients. Joan was a longtime member of DeBaun Memorial Baptist Church. She loved animals especially her cats "Andy" and "Candy". She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed.
Left to cherish her memory is: a son, Raymond A. Newlon ( Bonnie); three daughters: Janet Hirsch (Mike), Joan "Kay" Fox , and Genene Funk ( Jerry); a sister Dorothy "Dot" Rosser; six grandchildren: Michael "Team" Bentley (Michelle), Christine Butler, Angel Britt, Adrienne Foster (Keith), Amy Johnson (Chris), and Shannan Seiberlich; and nine great-grandchildren.
