Mr. Frank Schifano, age 85, of Florence, died Dec. 20, 2006, at Florence Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 22, 2006, from 1-3 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel, with entombment following in Greenview Memorial Park Love Mausoleum. Officiating at the service will be Brother David Dowdy. Military funeral honors will be accorded at graveside.
Mr. Schifano was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Mary Schifano; five brothers, Joe, Tony, Sam, Angelo and Fred Schifano; two sisters, Eva Attarodo and Carmella Bivona.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Dowdy Schifano; son, Tony Schifano; daughters, Mary Alice Davis, Debra Barlow Schifano, Regina Archer; sisters, Angie Maggio, Lena Martino; grandchildren, Tracey and Brett Woodward, Tiffny Shockley, Sean and Lauren Barlow, April Archer; great-grandchildren, Sadie and Sam Shockley.
Pallbearers will be friends and family.
The family would like to thank the staff at Florence Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Asera Care Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Florence Nursing-and Rehabilitation Activities-Department.
