She died either the same day or possibly the day after her daughter who is also in this cemetery. They are reported to be buried beside each other although Sophronia does not have a stone. Her daughter was Margaret Ann (Howard) Phillips and Margaret does have a stone in this cemetery. This is family lore only so I can not prove it.

She married 6 Dec 1866 in Claiborne, LA to William Thomas Howard born Dec 1946 in Troup, GA died 5 Aug 1882 in Logan county AR. Burial place unknown. They had 7 children:
Rosalee Dupont Howard (My great great grandmother)
George F Howard
Hiram B Howard
Lemuel Pinkney Howard
Margaret Ann "Maggie" Howard
Frances R "Fanny" Howard
Mary Annette "Nettie" Howard
