Rosa (Litson) Plummer Smith, 94, Savannah, formerly of St. Joseph, died Saturday, July 10, 1999, at a Savannah health-care center.
Mrs. Smith, a homemaker, worked as a saleswoman at the Star Furniture Co., St. Joseph, for 23 years until its closing.
Born Sept. 30, 1904, in Lovell, Okla., she lived most of her life in St. Joseph until moving to Savannah in 1997.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her first husband, Wendell U. Plummer, in 1939; her second husband, William D. Smith; an infant daughter; and her parents, George W. and Anna L. Litson.
Surviving: three sons, Jerald L. Plummer, Savannah, Wayne U. Plummer, Edwardsville, Kan., and Charles Plummer, St. Joseph; two daughters, Wanda Shelton, St. Joseph, and Maxine VanKirk, Oregon, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 28 great-great-grandchildren.
Service: 1 p.m. Tuesday, Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel, St. Joseph. Burial: Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Joseph. Visitation: after 9 a.m. today at the chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight. Memorial contributions may be sent to the United Methodist Church in Forest City, Mo.
