WILLIAM EBERT SR., 89 of rural Reedsville died Friday at Holy Family Hospital Manitowoc.

Mr. Ebert was born May 10, 1886 at Reedsville a son of the late Julius and Amelia Bessert Ebert. He married Aurella Krueger Aug 11, 1910 in the town of Rockland. He was a member of Maple Rock school board for 30 years and former treasurer of the town of Rockland. He was a lifetime member of Reedway Sportsman Club, member of Rockea Hunting Club and elder in the Rockland church. Mrs. Ebert preceded him in death on Dec. 24, 1975.

Survivors include three sons, Carvel of Waukesha, William Jr., and Gerald of Reedsville, a daughter, Mrs. Adolph (Rosemary) Svatek of Reedsville, 16 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Two daughters, a brother and a half sister preceded him in death.
