HERMAN A. EBERT

Herman A. Ebert, 87, of 1433 N. Sixth St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday afternoon
at the residence.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc.
The Rev. Robert C. Isler will officiate with burial in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mr. Ebert was born July 31, 1888, at Reedsville, son of the late Julius and
Amelia Bessert Ebert. He attended Reedsville School. He married Hattie Kraus
June 1, 1911, in the Town of Rockland, where they farmed until 1948, when they
moved to Reedsville. In 1969, they moved to Manitowoc to reside. He was a member
of St. Paul United Methodist Church at Manitowoc.
Survivors include his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Marcella) Cummings of Park
Ridge, Ill.; a brother, William Ebert Sr., of Reedsville and two grandchildren.
A son, a daughter, two sisters, three half-brothers and a half sister preceded
him in death.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday until
the time of service.
