Mr George Ward Headley, age 73, of 1309 Vanderbilt Road, passed away Monday morning at the residence. Survived by the wife, Mrs Cora Headley; 1 daughter, Mrs Leland Goodwin; 2 sons, Archie Headley and Vel Headley; 2 sisters, Mrs Emma McNeal and Mrs Della Patterson; 2 brothers, Ed and Brad Headley; several grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 1 pm from Union Grove Baptist Church, Jemison, Ala, interment adjoining cemetery. Brown-Service, Norwood, directing.
