Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the home near Mac for Andy Underwood, 65 years old, who died at his home Saturday after a brief illness. Rev. D. L. Druien conducted the services and burial was in the Underwood family cemetery. He was a native of Taylor County and was born here on July 28, 1874, the son of the late Frank and Mary DeWitt Underwood. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Alice Underwood; three sons: Oscar, Bennie and Howard Underwood; one daughter, Mrs. Bill Loyall; one brother, Aaron Underwood; three half-brothers: Ben, Logan and Henry Underwood; two sisters: Mrs. Bettie Cochrane, Buffalo; Mrs. Priscilla Gibson, Illinois. Pallbearers were: Oscar Underwood, Howard Underwood, Bennie Underwood, Bill Loyall, Omar Wright and Clayton Wright.
