"Married William John Parker, who was born May 12, 1812 in Ga and died in 1908. He was a native Georgian whose ancestry is unknown. He married Alethea Lawhon, probably in then Lee Co, Ga, shortly after 1830. He was active in the local affairs, being a commission for Webster Co, Ga, the new Lee County in 1854 and was a farmer. Parker's Mill in the northern part of Terrell Co., Ga near the Webster County line is associated with the family. He and Alethea had three sons killed in the civil war. Both are buried at Old Beulah Primitive Cemetery, on Hwy 45, past Kinchafoonee Creek and turn right on paved road. His grave likely unmarked. Their children are listed as

b. Sarah Cynthia Parker, born April 13, 1836 d. Mar 31, 1897 in Dade City Fla. M. Sept 1855 to James Erwin Lee b. 4/4/1832-8/13/1917 Dade City Fl. CSA- 13th GA Vols and wounded twice;
c. Daniel Franklin Parker b. 12/17/1837 d. May 3, 1863 . Member of 51st GA Vol CSA and was killed near Fredericksburg at age 24;

e. Eustace Dawson Parker b. Jan 25, 1840 Served in Co. H, 13th GA vol, CSA, the "Panola Rifles.' and was wounded. He moved to Texas during the dark days of the Reconstruction in the 1870's and was living in Brazorias Co, TX in 1900.
f. William Harrison Parker (Twin) b. May 2, 1842, served in 13th GA Vols, CSA, was wounded and captured.
g.. Alethea Josephine Parker (twin) May 2, 1842, d. Feb. 27, 1911 married John William Fulwood Murray ( 1833-1920) on Nov. 15-1860;
h. Margaret Louise Parker, b. Oct 25, 1844
i.Angerone Parker b. July 18, 1847
j. Esther Parmelia Parker b. Nov. 9, 1850;
k.Julia E. Parker b. June 27 ,1853
