Her parents, Myrtle and Frederick Sunday, had seven children born between the years of 1915 & 1933. Arlene was the firstborn and outlived all of her siblings. She lost her beloved husband Frederick Dean Bly in 1997, and her ashes will rest next to him in Farmland, Indiana.
She exuded energy, optimism, determination, independence, humor and joy. She loved to read, to fish, to hunt, to climb mountains and explore. She would try anything at least once. She was a great wife, mother, friend, neighbor, professional secretary, scout leader, hospital, church & election volunteer. She was the original energizer bunny! We all miss her vibrant spirit.
