The eighth of nine children born to James Weddle and Sarah Jane (Snider) Kennedy of Nashville, Brown Co IN, Robert married Dorothy E McFarlin on 30 Aug 1922 in in Williams, Lawrence Co IN. They had three sons.
Robert graduated from Indiana University with a Master in Science, 1927. He had a very long career in the public school system as teacher, principal, basketball coach and superintendent; he also served in the US Army during WWI.
My memory of Robert is vague as we only met at a family reunion when I was quite young, but my Dad always spoke highly of his Uncle Robert.
