David was a wonderful man who loved his family, loved the Lord and touched the lives of everyone he met. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
He left behind, to follow him later, his wife of 47 years, Linda Bye Adamson, a daughter, Susie Spears (Jim), a son, David D. (Ivy), a granddaughter, Alishia Adamson Schad (Steven), a grandson, David M. Adamson and a son-in-law, Kevin Smith. Surviving siblings are Edna Atkins (Gene), Helen Cummings (Harry), John R. Adamson and Mary Swan (Sam).
David was preceded in death by his parents, John F. and Anna Adamson, a daughter, Tabitha Adamson Smith, sisters, Frances Kane, Ellen Roberson, and Rose Parr.
David retired from International Harvester with 20 years service and also Daramic with 20 years service.
Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Unity Chapel United Methodist Church, Ramsey, IN with burial in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Cape Sandy, IN. Visitation: 1 - 8 p.m. Monday at Swarens Funeral Home, 1405 Hwy 64 NW, Ramsey, and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at Unity Chapel United Methodist Church. Published in The Courier-Journal on August 26, 2012.
