Winifred Parker McMechan, born Galesburg Illinois. Daughter of Robert Stewart Parker and Emma Nash Vail Parker. She played several instruments including the harp, was very well read, and reported by family to be the "sweetest lady". Mother of 4 children and wife to James McMechan of Ireland and Boone Iowa. Her death was a great loss to the family.
