The obituary of Maudy (Frazier) Ingram as published in the August 16, 1934, issue of The Mountain Eagle (page 1):

Linefork Mother Passes Away

It is with regret that we learn of the death of Mrs. Maud Frazier Ingram, of Line Fork, in a hospital at Harlan, a few days ago to which she had been taken by her husband Anse Ingram, for treatment.

Mrs. Ingram was around 40 years of age and was a daughter of Zach Frazier, being born and reared on Defeated Creek in our county. She leaves a husband, how many, if any children, we are not informed, her aged father and several brothers and sisters. Enoch Frazier, now of Cumberland, and Philip Frazier, of Defeated Creek, are two of her brothers, while Mrs. Mant Hackworth is her sister.

It was our pleasure to know Maud from her early youth to within the last few years, and it would be difficult to find a finer neighbor or more lovable lady. She will be missed by all her relatives and friends and her loss sadly mourned. The body was intered on the old farm near Gordon, on Linefork.
