Elizabeth was the daughter of George Washington Gooch (1853 – 1945) and Lucinda Jane Padgett. The family left their native state of Kentucky and came west to California in the early 1900's where Elizabeth became a resident of Placer County for almost 90 years, living to be 104! She was married to Benjamin E. Allen. Elizabeth was survived by a son in Loomis and a daughter in North Highlands.
