HARRY A. WENZEL

Harry A. Wenzel, 81, of 533 Menasha St., Reedsville, died unexpectedly Friday,
August 26, at his residence.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Zion United Methodist Church, Reedsville.
The Rev. Karl Goodfellow will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Reedsville.
Mr. Wenzel was born July 31, 1902, in the town of Rockland, son of the late William
and Bertha Luedtke Wenzel. He farmed in Manitowoc County for many years and was
employed as a gardener at Manitowoc Health Care Center from 1957 until his retirement
in 1965. He married Ellen Benson, Nov. 20, 1926, at Evangelical Concordia Church,
Milwaukee. Mr. Wenzel was a member of Reedsville Senior Citizens.
Survivors include a son, Robert Wenzel of Houston, Texas; two daughters and sons-
in-law, Vernaye and Edward Gibbs of Alamo, Calif. and Caroll and Vic Krueger of
Reedsville; two brothers, George and Clarence of Brillion; three sisters, Mrs. Anna
Wittman of Brillion, Miss Grace Wenzel of Milwaukee and Mrs. John (Nettie) Rizenesky
of Brillion; a sister-in-law, Lorraine Benson of Milwaukee; nine grandchildren; five
great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. His wife preceded
him in death May 19, 1978.
Friends may call at Reedsville Funeral Home, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 8 a.m.
until 11 a.m. Monday and then at the church from noon until the time of services.
Memorials may be made to Zion United Methodist Church.

sisters, Mrs. Anna Wittman, Miss Grace Wenzel and Mrs. John (Nettie) Krizenesky. Mrs.
Krizenesky's name was incorrect in Saturday's obituary.
