George A. Wenzel, 77, R. 2, Brillion, died at his home Sunday after apparently suffering a heart attack.
He was born January 15, 1907 in the town of Rockland, Manitowoc County, a son of the late William and Bertha Luedtke Wenzel.
On November 4, 1931, he married Lillian Tikalsky in Brillion. The couple farmed in the town of Rockland until 1969. He was also employed as a painter.
He was a member of Peace United church of Christ, Potter.
Survivors include his wife; three sisters, Grace Wenzel of Milwaukee, Mrs. Anna Wittmann and Mrs. Nettie Krizenesky, both of Brillion; and a brother, Clarence, of Brillion. A brother preceded him in death.
Funeral services were at Peace UCC. The Rev. Chris Thurow, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Brillion Community Cemetery.
