Marriage of Fred/Stella Priebe
Reedsville Items
A pretty home wedding was celebrated in our village Thursday afternoon and evening when Stella(sic) Fischer, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alb. Fischer became the bride of Fred Priebe, a prosperous young farmer residing near Brillion. The bride wore a gown of navy blue silk messaline and carried a bouquet of roses. She was attended by Lenora Reinke, Lena Priebe and Linda Fischer, also gowned in blue. The groom's attendants were Willie Priebe and Mr. Raschke. Rev. Detert of the Evangelical Association church pronounce the words that bound the happy couple for life just as the village clock struck the hour of 2:00 pm. Seats had been arranged on the lawn surrounding the home and dinner was served under a canvas covered tent. Reedsville's village band furnished music for the guests present who thoroughly enjoyed the day's pleasure. The happy couple were presented with many choice wedding gifts besides a purse of $50 by their admiring friends.
