Charles M. Krueger, 68, retired town of Rockland farmer, died at the Holy Family hospital where he had been a patient since Friday. He had been in ill health for a long period. Funeral services were held from the home of his son, Milan, near Reedsville at 1 p.m. Thursday and at 2 p.m. from the Zion Evangelical church in Reedsville. Burial was in the Evergreen Evangelical church cemetery near Reedsville.
Mr. Krueger was born may 28, 1874, in the town of Rockland. In 1897 he married Miss Emma Becker who died 15 years ago. In 1930 he married Mrs. Mary Zastrow who died two years ago.
Survivors are six daughters, Mrs. Erwin Habermann of Chilton, Mrs. Amanda Sharpe of Appleton, Mrs. Arthur Habermann of Two Rivers, Miss Esther Krueger of Beverly Hills, Calif., Mrs. Roy Fischer of Brillion and Miss Anita Krueger of Milwaukee; one son, Milan, on the homestead; two brothers, Henry of Valders and Herman of Reedsville; three sisters, Mrs. William G. Krueger of Chilton, Mrs. Henry Behnke and Mrs. Herman Boettcher, both residing near Reedsville; and 10 grandchildren.
