Mrs. Lydia Hagenow, wife of Fred Hagenow, died at the family home at Reedsville at 2:30 this morning after a lingering illness. The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 with services at the Evangelical church.
Mrs. Hagenow who was Lydia Stelling before her marriage was born at Reedsville June 6, 1887 and was thirty-nine on her birthday last week. She always lived at the village with the exception of a few years spent at Whitelaw. She was married to Fred Hagenow September 19, 1907 and is survived by her husband and seven children; Christy, Hilary, Fred, Clyde, Lucile, Gertrude and Dorothy Mae, all at home, her father. F.F. Stelling and four sisters, Mrs. Ernest Menke of Kiel, Clara Stelling, Mrs. Emil Wenzlaff and Mrs. L.A. Busse, all of Reedsville.
Deceased was a member of the Women's club and had always been active in village affairs.
