HUNTER KILLED IN WOODS NEAR SAGOLA
Joseph Anthony Podgornik, 36, Ford Plant employee living at1002 West Ludington Street, died almost instantly shortly after 10 a.m. today when he was accidently
shot through the chest by a companion, Albert LaVigne, in a hunting accident.
The accident occurred in the woods about 2 ½ miles southwest of Sagola.
Podgornik is survived by his widow, 1 daughter, Delores & a stepson, Robert Spanheimer, serving in the United States Navy in the South Pacific; his father,
Anton, brother Stephen, United States Army & 2 sisters, Mary & Susan, Chicago..
Burial will be in Cemetery Park.
