PEARL E. SMITH
FROSTBURG - Mrs Pearl E. Smith, 73, of RD 3, Stoystown, Pa., formerly of Frostburg, died Wednesday in Somerset Community Hospital, Somerset, Pa.
Born in Carlos April 1, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Archie and Edith (Steveson) Hott. Her husband, William Smith, also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Smith was a member of Castner Assembly of God Church, Castner, Pa.
Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Pearl Siperek, Boswell, Pa.; Mrs. Shirley Ohler, Stoystown; Mrs. Alice Carmack, Baltimore; Mrs. Linda Barker, Gaston, N.C.; Mrs. Marian Richardson, Silver Spring, and Miss Ruth Smith, Castner; six sons, Roy Smith and Raymond Smith, both of Stoystown; William Smith and Henry Smith, both of Frostburg; Jerry Smith, Cross Keys, Pa., and Eugene Smith, Crellin; four sisters, Mrs. Martha Leatherman and Mrs. Estella Porter, both of Frostburg; Mrs. Myrtle Jones, Chantilly, Va., and Mrs. Agnes Blocker, Washington, D. C.; three brothers, William Hott,Rockville; Thomas Hott, Kensington, and Archie Hott, Hudson, Ohio, 31 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, Frostburg, Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will tie conducted there Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in Trinity Assembly of God Church, Midlothian, by the Rev. E. Scott Varney and the Rev. Jack E. Sallie. Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.
The body will be taken to the church on hour prior to services.
