He was born August 12, 1984, in Lafayette to Gilbert "Gib" and Melinda "Mindy" (Hardy) Crimmins. He graduated from Tri-County High Schoolin 2003, and went on to receive his bachelor's degree from Purdue University.
He was a member of Circle Pines Co-op and the First Christian Church of Remington, and he was an employee at Greg Schneider Electric.
Andy enjoyed fishing, golfing, basketball, physical fitness, watching movies, especially with his mother and hanging out with his brothers.
Surviving with his parents are three brothers, Adam Crimmins, of Lucerne, Austin (wife: Kassidy) Crimmins, of Elkhart and Brandon Crimmins, of Indianapolis; a niece, Presley Crimmins; paternal grandparents, Richard and Sarah Jane Crimmins, of Lucerne; and his maternal grandfather, Olin Hardy, of Logansport.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Virginia Hardy.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. (EDT) Sunday, August 26, 2012, at the First Christian Church of Remington (8 W. Virginia Street,Remington, IN 47977). Funeral service there at 11:00 a.m. (EDT) Monday, August 27, 2012; Rev. Randy Sparks officiating; interment to follow at Indian Creek Christian Cemetery of Lucerne.
