JONESPORT - Norman Leroy Chandler passed away Aug. 22, 2012, with family by his side. He was born Nov. 1, 1934, in Jonesport, to William and Phyllis (Huntley) Chandler.
Norman was a lobster fisherman who enjoyed spending his time digging clams and making bait pockets and trap heads.
Norman was predeceased by his parents, William and Phyllis Chandler; wife, Marie Chandler; baby sister, Betty Jane Chandler; and brother, Colin and wife, Marilyn Chandler. He is survived by his children, Leroy and wife, Noreen Chandler, of Beals; daughter, Betty and husband, Mike Dow, of Milbridge; son, Scott and wife, Irma Chandler, of Jonesport; grandchildren, Jeremy Chandler and friend, Amanda, Kyle Chandler and friend, Sarah, and Chris Dow.
