Helen Irene White, 87 of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Magnolia Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born on January 2, 1925 in Malvern, Arkansas to the late Jack and Mamie (Paul) Hicks.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ercil White, a newborn twin daughter, her sister Pauline Roberts, and a brother Charles Hicks.
Helen is survived by her daughter Barbara Biddle and husband Norman of El Dorado, Arkansas; a son Tommy White and wife Becky of Emerson, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Scott McCall of El Dorado, Laura Blake and husband Jason of Maumelle, Arkansas, Mark White of Magnolia, Kacey Smith of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Kellen Smith of Emerson; two great granddaughters Megan McCall of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Grace McCall of El Dorado; two brothers, Bill Hicks and wife Pat of Benton, Arkansas, and Paul Hicks and wife Linda of Conway, Arkansas.
A graveside service will be Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Riddick Cemetery near Stephens, Arkansas with Bro. Eric Goble officiating under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia.
Visitation with the family will be Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Riddick Cemetery, C/O Molly Merritt, 3105 Highway 57, Stephens, Arkansas.
The family would like to thank the staff at Magnolia Health and Rehabilitation Center for the care given to Helen over the last eight years.
