Ambrose C. Coffman, 87, of 3851 N. River Road, WL, died at 1:55 m., Tuesday, September 28, 2004 in the Indiana Veteran's Home.
Born February 26, 1917 in Montmorenci, he had lived in Lafayette most of his life. He married Betty J. Hickman on February 2, 1972 in Lafayette. She died April 25, 2003.
Mr Coffman worked as a laborer at Lafayette Water Works for 19 1/2 years, retiring in 1979. He served in the Army. His hobbies included fishing and gardening.
Surviving are three stepsons, Ralph Moore of St. Petersburg, Florida, Michael Moore of Lafayette and Charles Payne of Lafayette; and a brother Francis Coffman of Lafayette.
