A.J. Hargis, Sr. Dies in Natchitoches
A.J. Hargis, Sr., 75 years old, died at his residence in Natchitoches Monday afternoon after an extended illness. Funeral services were held with the Rev. R. R. Branton, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating. The deceased is survived by three sons and six daughters. They are Mrs. B. K.Boydstun, Mrs. J. R. Weaver, Mrs. M. L. DeLacerda, A. J. Hargis and E. A. Hargis of Natchitoches, Mrs. John White of Greenwood, Mrs. Ed Studer of
Bakersfield, Calif., and Mrs. John Winger of Glenmora. Two sisters also survive, Mrs. Ida Terrell of Shreveport and Miss Kathleen Hargis of Columbia.
