Mrs. Melba Catherine (Fore) McCarty, age 85 of Mountain Home passed away Monday, August 20, 2012 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. Melba McCarty was born January 13, 1927 in Bakersfield, Missouri to Steve C. and Eva Maye (Hall) Fore. She loved her lord, her family, and gardening.

Mrs. Melba Catherine McCarty is survived by two grandchildren; Kenneth Scott McCarty (Cynthia) of Huntsville, Tennessee and Christina Allman (Al) of Columbus, Indiana, four great-grandchildren, and one sister; Maye Grafton of Kansas City, Missouri. Also surviving is her special friend; Edgar, and special caregivers/neighbors; Stanley and Rhonda Seymour and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Kenneth Theodore McCarty, one son; Gary Lee McCarty, and one brother; Jay Fore.

Visitation for Mrs. McCarty will be Noon – 9 PM Thursday at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends 6-8 PM. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM., Friday at the Fore Cemetery in Bakersfield, Missouri with Rev. Cranford Hodges officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Fore Cemetery Upkeep Fund.
