Harold Wick, 85, died of lung cancer, Tuesday, Aug. 14, at Peace Hospice.

Harold was born July 22, 1927, in Stockett to Nels and Marit (Hammer) Wick. He was raised and educated in Stockett. He served in the Army for three years during the Korean War. Harold married Marvelyn M. Walton on Dec. 12, 1951, in Fort Benton. Harold worked for the A.C.M.C. for 15 years, and then went to work for the school district as a building engineer on boilers for 28 years, retiring in 1987.

He belonged to the Sons of Norway, was a life member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church, the Skunk Wagon Car Club, the Operating Engineers Local #400 and the Eagles Lodge. He enjoyed working on old cars in his younger years, going to the mountains and playing with his pet dogs and cat.

Harold is survived by his daughter; three sons; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years Marvelyn "Marty" Wick; his parents; three sisters, Elisa and Marie Wick and Edith Kavulla; and three brothers, Edwin, John and Sivert Wick.
