Mrs. McClung was born in Jackson County, Nov. 22, 1881, the daughter of the late Edwin L. and Jane Lamp Nuzum, and was the widow of the late Dr. Park W. McClung of Elizabeth, who preceded her in death on Feb. 17, 1924.
Mrs. McClung was a past matron of the Order of Eastern Star of Elizabeth, a member of the White Shrine of Jerusalem and a member of the Elizabeth Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mary J. Hulscher and Mrs. Martha Licklider, both of Elizabeth; two sons, N. S. McClung of Barboursville and Edward N. McClung, of Parkersburg; one brother, C. H. Nuzum, of Leroy; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon from the Elizabeth Baptist Church with the Rev. A. S. Kellley, the Rev. Robert Topping and the Rev. V.C. Winter officiating. Burial followed in the K. of P. Cemetery. The Franklin Funeral Home of Parkersburg was in charge of arrangements.
