Mrs. Henrietta Boldt died during the evening meal at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jos. Ponwith of Cleveland township, last Saturday evening of strangulation from a piece of food which she was eating. Deceased was 96 years old and this together with the fact that she was a sufferer from asthma made it hard for her to eat her food. She and her husband came to America in the pioneer days and her home has been in Le Sueur county since.

Her husband died some years ago and she is survived by two daughters and three sons, as follows: Mrs. Jos. Ponwith, of Cleveland; Mrs. Fox of Ottawa; Herman, Wm.and Ernest Boldt, of Cleveland. She is also survived by three sisters and two brothers: Mrs. Herman Krisatis and mrs. Wm. Loeck of St. Peter; Mrs. Fred Fischer, of Winona; Reinhold Korn, of Clara City; and Henry Korn, of Cleveland. Funeral services for the pioneer mother were held on Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock from the Scotch Lake church and the burial was in the Scotch Lake cemetery.
