William H. Dailey Dies at Colfax

COLFAX, Oct. 2 - William Henry Dailey, 88 died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Howatrd Moore, here this afternoon at 4 o'clock. Death was attributed to complications.
Funeral services will be held from the Williams funeral home Saturday at 2 p.m. The Rev. C. C. Cole, of Warren, will officiate with burial in Plainview cemetery, near here. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon today, it was announced yesterday.
Born near Thorntown, February 24, 1856, he was the son of Jonathan and Cecila (kettle) Dailey. In 1879, he married Sarah E. John, who passed away in 1897. His second wife, Nancy Kinder Dailey, preceded him in death in 1933.
Surviving are one daughter, Mable, of Colfax; a son, F.E. Dailey, of Indianapolis; one sister, Mrs. Mattie Cook, of Atlanta; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He was a member of the Colfax Methodist church.
