Glenn, (73) died in Perry Villege Nursing Home, New Bloomfield, but lived his whole life in Newport. He was the son of the late Lester and Alta (Shatto) Morrison. He was former co-owner of Morrison Chevrolet and the former Plaza Restaurant, both in Newport ans was employed at Leidy Chevrolet in Mifflintown. He was a mwmber of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Newport, a graduate of Newport High Schooland former band member; a Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict; member American Legion Post #177, Newport; Newport Loyal Order of Moose #1562; Newport Lodge #381 F&AM; Newport Social Order of Owls; and Newport Fire Company. Surviving are his wife, Ruth (Shatto) Morrison; son Doug Morrison of Newport; daughter, Elaine Briggs of Dillsburg; step-son Edward Simoncelli, Jr. of TN; step-daughter, Susan Hebel of Liverpool, Pam Neitz of Carlisle, and Brenda Carns of VA; 6 grandsons and 4 granddaughters. He was preceded in death by a brother, Dale Morrison.
