George Gerdes Dies

George H. Gerdes, 92, of 917 30th Street North, Fargo, died Friday evening at home. Mr. Gerdes had until recently resided at 1217 9th Street South.

Arrangements are through Boulger and Hughes Funeral Home.

According to Reilly Funeral Home records of Gilman, Illinois (now known as Redenius Funeral Home), funeral services for George were held in Fargo, North Dakota on Monday, November 12, 1962 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. The body was then taken by train at 4:00p from Fargo, ND to Chicago, IL, where it arrived at Union Station at 8:00a on Tuesday, November 13th. Graveside services were then held at St. Mary's Cemetery in Gilman, Illinois on Tuesday, November 13, 1962 at 11:00a with the Rev. George Bubnick presiding.
