PAULINE "GRANNY" BAILEY
Funeral services for Pauline "Granny" Bailey, 87, of Plateau Road, Crossville, who passed away Dec. 27, 1998, were held Dec. 30 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with burial in Green Acres Memory Gardens.
Bros. Raymond Lawson and William Wiley officiated, with special music by Molly and Bruce Wyatt, and Ashley Stowers. The eulogy was given by Garry W. Hood.
She was born Oct. 15, 1911 in Overton County, TN, the daughter of Other and Nora Hargis Cannon.
Mrs. Bailey was a homemaker and she was a charter member of Lawrence Chapel Church of God of Prophecy.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Georgia Mae and Barton Wilson, and Betty and M.L. Deck, all of Crossville; sons a daughters-in-law, Willard Bailey of Kingston, TN, and Harry and Brenda Bailey, Larry and Lucille Bailey, and Michael Bailey, all of Crossville; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Polson and Louise Wyatt, both of Crossville; and brother, Milford Cannon of Crossville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Bailey; daughter, Margaret Ruth Bailey; and son, Charles Kenneth Bailey.
Pallbearers were Shane Bailey, Russ Bailey, Jamie Bailey, Jerry Stowers, Kevin Phillips, Denton Sharp, Jimmy McDonald and Lynn Deck.
Bilbrey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
