Services for Kenneth E. Brenner, 77 of Davenport, will be 10 a.m. on Wednesday at Bentley Funeral Home, Wilton. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery, Wilton. Graveside military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post 584, Wilton.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Brenner died Sunday, May 4, 1997, at Davenport Medical Center.
He retired in 1974 as an inspector at the former International Harvester, Farmall Works, Rock Island.
He was born March 31, 1920 in Wilton Junction, Iowa. He married Lucille Blocker in 1938 in Muscatine, Iowa. She died in 1994
During World War II, he served in the 141st Infantry.
A memorial fund has been established.
Survivors include daughters, Stella Mooty, Mesa, Ariz., Dixie Lane, Davenport, Donna Tompkins, Wilton, and Shirley Sanders, Rock Falls, Ill.; 17 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren; sisters; Stella Maher, Pricilla Ellis and Martha Blanco all of Tucson, Ariz., and Laura Miller, Davenport, and brothers, Lester and Charles, both of Wilton.
