The Rev. Louise C. Hale, 91, of the Champaign-Urbana Regional Rehab Center, Savoy, passed away at 2:41 p.m. Friday (Aug. 17, 2012).
She was born Sept. 9, 1920 in Newman to Herman Sylvester and Loto Whittinghill Carroll. She married Robert W. Hale on April 13, 1941. He preceded her in death on April 1, 2005. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Rodney W. Hale; two sisters, B. Lucille Bland and Evelyn E. O'Rouke; three brothers, Cecil H. Carroll, Glenn D. Carroll and H. David Carroll and three brothers-in-law, Roy Yates, Patrick O'Rourke and William Shotts.
She is survived by two children; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters and a sister-in-law.
