CEMETERY DESCRIPTION: The cemetery is across a small creek in a meadow/hay field behind the house of Larry and Virginia Piler Boswell on Pliler Precise Road. The cemetery is on a small incline. Some years ago descendants had a wrought iron fence put around the cemetery and a plaque mounted. It reads: John Sweet and Emmaline Abney Killingsworth Family Cemetery/Established 1865/Restored and Rededicated November 28, 1998. Blanche Killingsworth (Mrs.) Henderson and later the widow of Zachariah Abney, a descendant of T.H. Abney's brother Zachariah, was one of the major forces behind the restoration. The house, field and cemetery is on land that was owned by John Sweet and Emmeline Abney Killingsworth. It is still on private land. No road to it.
